Did you know you can totally create antimatter? And regular matter, too? You could create an electron that went on to bind with a carbon atom, that became part of your food, and then you could eat it, and then it’d get broken down and used to build like, your bones, or something… and then you will have literally created a part of yourself.
Well, not you, personally. You couldn’t do that. You don’t have the sort of equipment necessary to pull it off – and if you did, you’d already know all of this. But, maybe you’re headed to college and were wondering what you wanted to do with your life, then read this article and decided, ‘by god, I will one day have access to these sorts of things! Especially the lasers.’ I digress.
My point is, someone out there can create matter and antimatter – and what’s more, they get to play with lasers to do it.
