Never does this become more apparent than on the subatomic level, where we realize that nature is just making shit up. Mathematically, of course, but making it all up, nonetheless.
Particles act however they damn well please, and we are helpless but to take note.

This picture is deceptive in that it makes sense. Also electrons are nowhere near that close to the nucleus. Also, they exist in a cloud, not in a… oh. No one cares? Damn everything.
